So, I guess my parenthetical in my last post was me telling myself I needed a break.
I launched this blog on June 29th this year. Since then, I’ve made a post a week, doing 15 articles. Woah.
It’s been almost three weeks since my last post (Perfect Punk Album #9: Civil War).
Have no fear - I have more in the works! More perfect punk albums, more jazz & punk explorations, more random thoughts. It’s just been a busy few weeks outside of here and I’ve needed to catch my breath.
Also, I’m gearing up for a second weekend of shows with my old band, Eldritch Anisette. We are playing New York City on November 13th for the Numero Group showcase along with Garden Variety and Rye Coalition (is it the 90s again??), and the next day in Philadelphia at the Hurry Up! Fest with a bunch of bands, including Arranged in April, Rye Coalition, Jejune, and many other awesome bands.
For those shows, I’m working on a print version of this blog! I’m going to select a few of my favorites here and add some print-only material. I’m excited for that. Jumping back into the actual zine world. If you’re coming out to one of those shows, make sure to grab a copy!
In the meantime, talk soon….

Love it!
